(Antwerp, 10 October 2025) There is now reasonable relief – the Gaza peace treaty should end the massacres and starvation.
Nevertheless, the international community should now focus of nine key issues.
1. The last treaty from the beginning of this year was broken in the middle of the different phases – it should be safeguarded that Israel is not acting another time in this way.
2. All the border crossings for humanitarian assistance have to be opened unconditionally and immediately.
3. All UN agencies have to fulfill their tasks unconditionally and immediately.
4. All restrictions on arms export should be maintained.
5. National and international justice should do its work in investigating and prosecuting crimes.
6. Planning and implementations of the reconstruction should involve the Palestinian Authority as well.
7. The presence of Israeli military in half of the territory should not facilitate the arrival of settlers.
8. An agenda for the swift complete withdrawal of the Israeli military should be supervised effectively.
9. The additionally restrictions installed in the last two years in the West Bank and East Jerusalem should be dismantled.
